Face-to-face classes: VSL asks parents to make a curriculum contribution towards administrative costs. The contribution is:
- $90 for students in Years Foundation to Year 10
- $110 for students in Years 11 and 12

Students can only be enrolled in distance education with the support of their home school. An administrative fee of $200 is payable by the school directly to VSL for each enrolment from a government school.
VSL cannot accept payment from families for this service. Should government schools wish to seek a contribution from families, they must provide parents with the advice that their contribution is voluntary.

For distance education enrolments from non-government schools, an administrative and resource fee of $600 is payable by the school directly to the VSL for each enrolment.

When asked about enrolments, always refer to the official policy:
- Avoid speculative language.
- Use formal wording.
